Frequently asked questions
The boat ramp is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. While it’s almost always accessible, severe weather events—such as hurricanes—may result in temporary closures.
Please note: Although the boat ramp is open around the clock, the riverfront area is not. If you're launching or returning late at night or early in the morning, please keep noise to a minimum and ensure you're actively launching or retrieving your vessel.
After-Hours Payment: If you arrive outside regular hours, a pay box is available at the entrance. The boat ramp fee is $6.00. License plates will be recorded for vehicles that do not pay. Repeat non-payment may result in restricted access to the ramp.

No. In order to operate a golf cart anywhere on Camp Mack property, the driver must have a valid Florida Driver’s License. This means that children, teens without a license, or anyone with a learner’s permit are not permitted to drive golf carts—regardless of supervision.
This rule is in place to ensure the safety of all guests, including pedestrians, cyclists, and other drivers within the campground. Camp Mack follows Florida state regulations and takes the safety of our community seriously.
Violations of this policy may result in loss of golf cart privileges and/or further action by management.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
