Finding Us From Lake Hatchineha
From the river mouth in Hatchineha at Marker 10The mouth of the river at Marker 10 on Lake Hatchineha. This is generally considered the start of the Kissimmee river, though it continues northeast through Lake Hatchineha and Lake Cypress. Looking across the river from marker 10 to the northeast bank of Lake Hatchineha. This is all good fishing water.
Looking down the Kissimmee river from marker 10. It's 1 mile to Camp Mack (just past the power lines), and 3 miles from here to Lake Kissimmee. The water on the right hand bank is a bit deeper.
This sign marks the old Kissimmee River channel, and the entrance to Camp Mack. Idle speed only entering the Camp.
A view of the river bank entering Camp Mack. Might be a big ol' bass right there. Camp Mack's ramp straight ahead. Camp Mack's boat launch ramps and docks. They are 4 lanes wide, and easy launching. Camp Mack's store is just ahead on the right, and continuing past this point will take you back out to the Kissimmee river.
